As part of the overall goal of strengthening further our supports in the different key areas of the school-home partnership, RSS runs a six-week Parenting Essentials (PE) course on Saturdays. The topics covered are: The six topics are (1) Parenting Styles, (2) Personality Types, (3) Boundary, (4) Correction, (5) Affection, (6) Child Development.
The following are the team of facilitators who all have the passion to help guide and support young parents navigate the challenges of raising children.

Ilbeth Lim

• Professional educator for 20+ years, having worked in various teaching positions and held leadership roles in different environments
• Currently serving in an international school
• Married to Marcus with 3 girls, 5-11
Wong Mee Ching

• Has been working in a senior executive position for more than 20 years
• Facilitates the Chinese PE sessions
• Married to Matthew with three children aged 21 to 27. Two are in university while the oldest is working.

• Served in children ministry for 8 years

Our Education Consultant
Rosalind Tan,
Phd
Dr. Rosalind Tan joins the RSS team as an education consultant with over 20 years of experience in teaching and supervising kindergartens. She was the Director of the Holistic Child Development Institute, Penang for 16 years. She currently directs the Education programs at AGST Alliance, a consortium school in Asia. She is tasked to lead Tadika Rhema to focus on the social-emotional development of the children as part of the school’s commitment to Beyond Education – to educate beyond just the mind.
Pastoral Care
The Rhema Support Services team and the Pastoral team from Calvary Family Church are available to provide pastoral care for the staff, children, and their families.
School-Home Support
Tadika Rhema believes in the necessity of a strong school-home connection. The parents are informed of their children’s progress through formal Parent-Teacher Meetings after the mid-year evaluations and report card consultations at the end of the year.
